Barış Aygen (1988, Istanbul) is a cinematographer. He graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, Film & Television. He participated in Sarajevo Talents (2019). Until now he did 7 feature films as a cinematographer, inc. Eden (2018, Premiered in Warsaw Film Festival) and Belonging (2019, Premiered in Berlinale Forum). He is still working on shorts films, documentaries and commercial works.

Acting on the wishes of her daughter, his lover, he hired a contract killer to murder her because she opposed their relationship.
